Please do not interfere with the work of police and emergency services in order to tempt you to enter the area.

Dýrfinna Villikettir and Kattholt, a volunteer animal rescue organization from Dýrhájl Íslands, is now listed for animal rescue work in the Grindavik area.

If there is any chance today to save animals, an attempt will be made to save as many animals as possible. Dýrfinna has a list of around 250 animals, a detailed map and the keys to most of the homes.

To be clear... it's about a time window of 15 minutes to a maximum of 30. Hope for some pets, but not all of the animals.
