Sounds pretty cheap. Audiophile lan cable starts at $200
(And don't forget the $300 cable holder:

@privateger @lexd0g *agreed* At that price it should be #Cat8 S/STP (PIMF) with extra ground lead to connect externally as well as sping steel retaining latches so they can't be broken off?
Cuz not even Steam-pressure - washable & desinfectable Patchcables for medical devices using #Neutrik-Connectors are that expensive, and those at least have a valid reason to do so...
@devlin @popey @lexd0g Get some quality ones with steel retaining latches...
They cost way less and they actually are of decent qualty...

And they fail to provide "added value" to justify that bs price compared to some #Cat8 Patch Cable from Aperzon!

@Nellen @lexd0g Just use a #fanless #UniFi switch with #SFP+ ports and shove some AOC (active optical cable) or matchibg modules and fibers in it - like with #Toslink...

@SharpLimefox @lexd0g not really...
Otherwise this would've been an AOC (Active Optical Cable) instead...

Either way 600MHz is lousy at that price when there are cheaper cables doing 2.000MHz and thus can do 40GBaseT out of the box.
