@theregister The world desperately needs image authentication hardware built into the DFE of every camera.

Google, if you're listening, we need authentication metadata in our cell phone photo pipeline much more than we need AI editing. The cell phone is the eye-witness testimony of the modern age, and we need this functionality yesterday.
