Speaker Johnson can't even trust himself not to watch porn on his phone (he and his teenage son use a monitoring app which means everything on his devices is being disclosed to a third party, excellent for the Speaker of the House to be using), but expects the Senate and the rest of the country to trust everything else he says with no evidence. I hope we have no shutdown either on Nov. 18 or in 2024.

Speaker Johnson on GOP plan to avert government shutdown: ‘Trust us’

Johnson said he is exploring funding parts of the government incrementally, an idea backed by numerous members of his caucus, but he hasn’t yet endorsed that strategy.

The Washington Post
@MariaHill Mike Johnson's underage son is his porn accountability partner and not his wife. I'm sure it is very effective, NOT.
@Kday I don't have or need a babysitter, either human or app, to make sure I'm not watching porn on my phone (personally not a fan, but I'm pretty sure it's not for the reasons that Johnson isn't, and if I wanted to watch it, I wouldn't feel the need to report to anyone else). But what adult or especially teen who wanted to look at porn wouldn't be able to figure out the easiest workaround for the phone that your "accountability buddy" knows you have?
@MariaHill A child should never be a parent's accountability partner for inappropriate internet or social media usage or content. It's creepy and he seemed genuinely oblivious.
