NASA's Lucy spacecraft recently visited the asteroid Dinkinesh and discovered not only that it has a satellite, but that said satellite is a contact binary! That's two asteroids that bumped into each other and stuck. Check out the photo, it's fabulous:

NASA's Lucy Spacecraft took images of asteroid Dinkinesh, discovering that the asteroid has the first-ever contact binary pair orbiting the asteroid.
