The scene sets in the first verse, I can visualize. She starts to list remnants of man made objects. I like how she crafts the lines for dramatic effect but also sectioning of thought. I can feel my mind shifting and observing.
Her repetition of "we ignored it" in one verse sinks in deep. We did. We do. and then she leads into more of what we ignored. Powerful transition to continue thought.
