Microsoft Bing: I want you to know that I literally study sexuality. I'm pursuing a Gender, Women, and Sexualities degree! Please quit blocking "adult" content from my search results when I'm logged in with my school account. FWIW none of the shit you're blocking me from visiting is actually porn.

And, besides, calling this a "safe filter" is another whole level of bullshit -- call it what it is: a morality filter. You're not policing safety, you're policing morality.

@joelle Bing......? No way I'd be using that one. And Edge only when I need to deal with the MakroShit legacy of ActiveX for older cameras.
Firefox with DDG.
@AngelaScholder @joelle
Angela, you don't have to use Bing. Joelle does. She has good reasons why she uses Bing.
Also, Bing is an important resource for DuckDuckGo.
I won't use Bing either. But I do use DuckDuckGo.
@AngelaScholder what I said also applies to Google. FWIW I switched because of some of the awful answers to search questions on Google lately—it is rapidly becoming useles. bing sucks too but there is value in Google losing users when their quality gets worse. That is literally the only thong that would motivate them to fix search: less ad revenue.
@AngelaScholder I admit I don’t use DDG which I understand mainly uses Bing in the background. There was a reason I didn’t select it over Bing but honestly I can’t remember what it was so maybe I will give it a try again. That said, DDG also has the same SafeSearch as Bing.
@AngelaScholder @joelle lately i’ve been using Startpage as a default search engine and it’s been really good!
