well my main laptop finally died :/ so long Asus it was a displeasure to know you

the link to a job application just opened a JSON document so i found the specific Javascript function for the job posting and now i’m going down a rabbit hole of learning Node.js so i can run it in my computer. do you think if i’ll succeed i’ll get the job?

i thought i’d be able to do more C programming but healing takes a lot out of you 

one day after my orchiectomy! i’ve never gone under for surgery before, and it feels like i got kicked in the balls but the pain doesn’t go away (and also there’s no balls anymore). i thought i might be able to get some studying done during recovery but maybe not as much as I thought

i’ve found a learning style that works with my ADHD, which is basically studying like 4 different things at once and switching between them as my interest demands, which means i learn slower but in a much broader range. currently, going to school, studying for Security+, learning C programming (in Vim (btw)) m, and going through Tryhackme

damn so i wanted to factory reset my macbook so i can sell it, and i log out from my apple ID, but Find My uses an older ID that i believe is deleted, so i just get “Apple ID is invalid” and can’t complete the reset process. i scheduled a call with apple support but they just didn’t call me

so the family computer i used growing up was this ugly green dell laptop that had windows 7, an upgrade from the windows XP tower PC we used when i was really little, and when i was talking to my mom last she said she still had it and that she’d give it to me. i think i’m gonna really challenge myself and do a Linux From Scratch build after i scrape through it for any old photos and stuff :)
