jz.tuskI wanted there to be a second human character to come in at the end and say, "Y'know, to do the math we don't actually have to assume the infinities are real. We just use the human ability to put a name to an idealization of certain properties, and interact with those ideals the same way we interact with reality".
The bonus cel would be the second human looking at god verrrrry significantly. It would require extremely deft eye-brow work. :-)
(moved)Galbinus Caeli 🌯@ZachWeinersmith i misread "next week" as "right now" and tried to pick it up from my local bookseller (shout out to Leigh's Favorite Books, Sunnyvale CA who seem to have no mastodon presence yet). Their system shows four copies in stock. Diligent searching failed to turn these up in "Science" on endcaps, or featured tables. Then i checked the release date, November 7, and asked "are these maybe in the back and you can't sell them yet?" They will call me when the embargo is released.
