tante@andreasdotorg yeah, it's often buggy. On my test account the timeline is often fucked up if I don't follow enough people so if there are not enough new posts the timeline craps out. But I had to go through the browser web inspector to figure that out. Sometimes the server error codes Tell you what's going on. (Not great UX)

This is probably a service like cloudflare or cloudfront sending an HTML error page because the underlying JSON-based API is not reachable. Maybe their servers are overloaded, attacked, or have a nasty error that causes a timeout in the request.
