The Strandbeest Walking Robot

A fully 3D printed version of the Strandbeest Based off the original invention by Theo Jansen, the Strandbeest is a mechanical walking creature that harnesses the power of the wind. This particular version uses a large 3D printed rotor at the back. The power from the wind is transferred through a gear box and to the main shaft that drives each leg module. The Toronto Strandbeest is capable of walking completely on its own.
