#introduction and belated thank you to #AoIR2023. There are so many people to thank, but I will start with my co-authors - @sam_hames and Earvin Cabalquinto. It was a joy presenting results of interactive approach to topic modelling with hyperreal applied to a case study of placemaking in migration discussions on StackExchange. Check out Sam's recent talk about this tool / method / approach if you are as fed up with conventional topic modelling as us.

Continued #AoIR2023 thank you post: the organisers made it a truly welcoming environment. I am especially grateful to @adrishaw who was both an excellent audience member and one of the magical people helping me find an important lost item following the post-presentation brain fog. Thank you also to @adriennemassanari and other organisers of the doctoral colloquium, as well as to my generous mentor Dr. Germaine Halegoua. The colloquium was the biggest highlight of the conference for me!
Continued #AoIR2023 thank you post: I am also grateful to all scholars, junior and senior, who were all so generous with their time, knowledge, sightseeing recommendations, and more. And last but not least - it was priceless to be surrounded by @qutdmrc colleagues - the most supportive and fun crew one could ever wish for.
