I think pornhub should jump on this opportunity to get their own YouTube alternative. Or, if they already have one, start pushing it. Figure out the revenue model and go for it. They have good fast servers and data store. People know the brand. User migration should not be an issue.

wizardbeardThe issue is that Youtube isn’t profitable. There isn’t really a business model besides milking as much cash out as you can and subsidizing the rest with money from the parts of Google that actually make money.
Doesn’t make this bullshit okay, but this is something regularly overlooked when people start talking about competitors or alternatives.
