Y'all might know that I'm a fan of the Osborne One but I'm beginning to believe that the Compaq Portable III was peak luggable. I wouldn't mind something in that form-factor into which I could transplant the guts of my tower PC.

Though, I do like my ultrawide monitor. To keep that I'd need a ~32" wide luggable. 😸

@trevorflowers what about the IBM 5100? My school had one, and it was my first computer. Had a hardware switch that determined whether you booted into APL or BASIC!
@ripple Dang, that's an absolute unit! I didn't realize until I read the Wikipedia page it was released eight years before the Compaq Portable.
