This Doonesbury from May 1973 would be hilarious except that I graduated from college 33 years ago and I’m Howie. (Look at how elderly the 20-something Trudeau drew 52-year-olds!) https://www.gocomics.com/doonesbury/1973/05/10
Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau for May 10, 1973 | GoComics.com

Man: After that, I joined Merrill funds, and it's been gravy ever since! But, Howie... how about you? What have you been up to all these years? Man: Me? Oh, I still haven't made up my mind what I want to do yet. Men: Hee hee! Hee! Man: And what's so funny about that, may I ask?! Man: Howie, this is our thirtieth reunion. Man: I just don't want to rush anything!!

@glennf I feel seen. (I’m 52.)
@glennf Honestly, my grandparents in their 50s looked very much the same as they did in their 80s and 90s. Even my parents didn’t visibly age that fast, and I feel like in my 50s I look more like my dad did at 40. People aged WAY differently back then.
@glennf Then again, look at any movie or TV show from the ‘70s and guess how old the actors are; chances are you’ll overshoot by at least 10 years.
@paulchillman Any age you ever guess for Wilford Brimley is wrong.
@glennf Yep; I proudly passed the Brimley-Cocoon line last year.
