Binge watching Detectorists went a long way towards keeping me sane during the first covid lockdown. Such an innocent and optimistic view of the world, I absolutely adore it!

@CableSt @aliceroberts really? I thought they made the distinction between gold diggers and history enthusiasts pretty clear. Especially in the second series.

I had an (unexpectedly, dramatically extended) stay with my dad, 2020-2021 - we binge-watched Detectorists at the recommendation of a sister. Absolutely lovely series.
(Also accompanied by vast quantities of Time Team, which seems appropriate...)

Never watched the detectorists, but after hearing great things about it, watched the very first episode at the start of December...
Finished series 1, and watched series 2 in one evening - a first for us for ANY series.
Now half way through series 3, and looking forward to the 2022 Xmas special.
