The myth the monied classes use to justify keeping their profits is that the entrepreneur and the investor bear the "risks," so they should get the rewards.

But what are they risking? MONEY.

Jeff Bezos risked his money and reputation, while his employees risked their mental health, their physical health, and sometimes even their lives. To say that Bezos risked more than anyone for Amazon's success is grotesque, and manifestly false.

@maxleibman also arguably Bezos and many other entrepreneurs and investors don’t risk their own money. They risk money they have inherited or were given by wealthy family and friend networks, and actually can lose without facing great personal harm because it won’t hurt any of their bottom lines.
