and her past adventures in the sprite-era games aren't all canon, because daisuke didn't personally work on those stories and brought things forward only in broad strokes when he got to do more in-depth stories for overture and xrd

but in ggxx she had endings where she met with ky, dizzy, potemkin, and may!

we basically know the first two endings really did happen because bri's strive story relies heavily on them, especially her ending with ky: even though all the bounties she captured were fake, ky still gives her a big ol' bag of money from his church to reward her efforts, and that money helps her wipe away the village superstition. in strive she's successfully wiped away the superstition, obviously knows ky very well, opens up to him about her personal queer struggles, and when her troubles are sorted out he cheerfully invites her to come visit dizzy again sometime soon. so she's definitely friends with dizzky

one of bri's few unique interactions in strive is with may - she can go "well? how do you like the new bridget?" - which implies they've also met before. they weren't really friends in ggxx though? they got off on the wrong foot because bri was mistakenly bounty-hunting dizzy and may will pummel anyone who mistreats dizzy. it's not hard to see how may and bri might become friends from there though, since bridget immediately stops pursuing dizzy upon realising she's Not Evil

may and bridget are very much written as friends in the accent core plus story mode: bri's story starts with a visit to the mayship to hang with her new pals, and she almost immediately opens up to may about money troubles and how she might need a new career. but the accent core plus story is very incompatible with the overture story, in a whole bunch of ways, and therefore is very noncanon

it's still a very popular read that bridget and may are besties regardless though. as they ought to be!

sadly there's currently no indication that bridget's meeting with potemkin is canon, which is a shame because that ending is cute as hell: pot is really impressed with bri's yo-yo combat skills and offers her a job teaching zepp's army how to use yo-yos like she does. adorable

accent core plus also gave us bri working at jam's restaurant as a cute waitress. which isn't canon either, since it's accent core plus, but they do seem to get along okay so ​

back in strive, we can safely assume bri is now friends with goldlewis. the two had only just met in her arcade mode, but you don't open up like that to each other without forming any connection whatsoever

we can also infer that she's now friends with sol as well, because she. literally says so? the two of them have a unique interaction in strive that goes like this:
🪀 you're a bounty hunter, too! let's be friends!
🔥 sure, but my friends play rough.

and that's about it! bridget really hasn't done all that much that's unambiguously canon. sprite-era guilty gear was weird like that

if we're open to considering super non-canon stuff like this supporting artwork, then she's pals with all the girls who were in the game as of accent core plus and it's very cute and sweet good for her
