@textualdeviance because I think there are many more factors involved. I don't think hatred of a specific proposed group really benefits anyone, well except for our overlords. In fact, that's exactly what they want to happen because it is incredibly beneficial for maintaining the status quo.
But I do recognise that these men make up the ruling class in America. And the same men, with different skin colour, race and religion do the same in other countries. However, the prerequisites of white, cishet christian male do not automatically make someone evil.
I suppose really what I am trying to say is both that that categorization of people doesn't take into consideration poverty, addiction, mental illness, disability, homelessness and a whole host of other things; and that nobody is a winner under whatever form of hellish neo-liberalism exists, not even the billionaires or politicians, because the entire thing is completey unnatural and isn't healthy for any human being.
It could also mean that someone wants to stay out of an argument that has no rewards for anyone.
I don't understand your comment.
What does being active have to do with a political discussion?
@beforewisdom Being politically active is draining, esp. when you work against windmills the whole time. I know people who needed to stop, to step away from "being into politics" for reasons of mental health.
@Jedigirl I stay out of politics because politics is all about saying the right thing at the right time.
I like people that DO the right things at the right time
