Darwin Woodka@drewtoothpaste I'm sorry but the NYT is owned by millionaires and the WaPo is owned by a billionaire. Let them pay their employees properly. News should be free. if they want to charge people for the games and whatnot fine, but news should ALWAYS be free. It is the biggest mistake news orgs everywhere have made. They should have always added extra value worth being charged for or provided enough LOCAL news to be worth a subscription.
BUT WHY DON'T PEOPLE WANT TO PAY FOR THE NYT???
idk, maybe because even great news on the economy gets reported like this? Sigh.
