led by Mengyu Li & with Jarmo Kikstra, Jason Hickel, Paul Brockway, Nicolas Dai, Arunima Malik & Manfred Lenzen. Have a look!

I think this is an important further step towards more detailed modelling of #degrowth climate mitigation scenarios. The paper imo confirms that such scenarios have lots of potential & need to be explored further. A huge thanks to Mengyu Li & all co-authors!

Keeping in mind the limitations mentioned in the paper, I still want to highlight Figure 6 below. It shows the differing reliance on mitigation levers between high-growth (left) & negative-growth (right) scenarios: the latter massively reduce technological feasibility concerns.
