The more I read about Laphonza Butler, California’s incoming senator, the more I like.

And, I believe Gavin Newsom when he said that he wasn't influencing the choice for the Senate seat in 2024.

I was a bit disappointed when both Porter and Schiff decided to run for the Senate because CA would loose two powerful and important voices in the House. As it stands now, my choice is one of the two of them.

But now I'm wondering, maybe Laphonza Butler is the best solution for the CA Senate seat in 2024. This keeps Porter and Schiff in the House when Democrats take back the majority in 2024. I'd like to see them as committee chair's.
