There have been further adventures in #Baking with the #NewCooker, after the raspberry and ricotta cake. Hence two batches of blaeberry muffins, definitely enhanced by the addition of vanilla extract, and a dairy-free chocolate cake, all of which have been deemed a success.

The latter was not vegan and not gluten-free, and I was glad to find a recipe that was just dairy-free, as previous attempts at gluten-free recipes have not been a success.

I still haven't used the Steam Bake option yet.

I would like to have at least one successful gluten-free and/or vegan cake recipe under my belt so I can offer it to relevant friends in the future. In the case of the dairy-free chocolate cake, that was for a friend who has low dairy tolerance, but is fine with gluten and eggs.

In general this household does not need vegan or gluten-free cake, so trying those out will probably wait till next year.
