I went to about 2-3 games a season at Fenway from 2004-2009 (when I first lived in Boston). I think about half of them, coincidentally, were where Wake took the mound. At the time, I was like "Ugh...again?", primarily because I just wanted to see some other pitchers, not because I didn't like him.

My thoughts are with his family. I know that Red Sox Nation will be feeling the loss as well...I certainly wasn't expecting to feel it anytime soon.
