@tmcfarlane yup I'd love to have one of those but I'd probably have to file for private insolvency
@realsimon yes , I had a momentary lapse of reason
"I cannot justify the cost of a Hasselblad... but it arrives on Wednesday so..."

@tmcfarlane Except for the 501C/M and T* lenses and so on. Making new things so people buy new gear isn’t new.
@Oshaughnessy al the viewfinders, cranks , screens, lenses and back are compatible between V series. Upgrade at your leisure.

@tmcfarlane Had this exact setup (but with a chrome Planar), and duuuude what a BEAST. Unfortunately I had to sell it because it was killing my cervical zone.

Now I'm shooting a...Leica R8/Cron 50mm type II "Canada". Because I like suffering.

@KD_0082 those chrome lenses are gorgeous!
I mostly wanted this for home stuff, macro and such.
That and just 'cos lordy it's a beautiful thing.

@tmcfarlane For macro I think there are some Zeiss lenses. The 80mm is the "universal" lens because it's roughly a 45mm more or less and is pretty small and light (the equivalent of 35/40mm is HEAVY as fuck). In case I buy it again, it would be only the Planar 80. It's just perfect.

Btw, try a Rolleiflex too. They are as good as the Hassy and much lighter, even the Schneider Kreuznach ones have nothing to envy the Zeiss and are cheaper. Just saying...

@KD_0082 I have an MPP Microcord (rolleicord copy), one shot from that on here is actually what triggered the Hassie purchase.
I've picked up some close up lenses for the 80mm, and will get done extension tubes. I may have ordered the 150mm too (and, err, side eyes on the 50mm).
@KD_0082 and yeah., I could get 10 microcords for the price of David Hasselblad, but I think it's worth it. Especially for macro, and use of filters, and just for the history (also, basically same price as a Rolleiflex now)
@tmcfarlane enjoy it then! But careful if you go hiking or walking with a strap. It can literally crush bones
@tmcfarlane Limpiando los cajones he encontrado este artilugio del demonio que hace fotos casi instantáneas!
