Attached: 1 image While on the Lathe… – introducing an old time friend: My Hasselblad SWC, Super Wide Camera (1954-2009). Mine may be of the earliest models. Battered by previous owner (news agency) I bought it some 40-50 years ago. Special ocations camera! - Even after digital photography arrived. https://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/swc.htm #FilmPhotography #Photography #camera #Hasselblad
@tmcfarlane Had this exact setup (but with a chrome Planar), and duuuude what a BEAST. Unfortunately I had to sell it because it was killing my cervical zone.
Now I'm shooting a...Leica R8/Cron 50mm type II "Canada". Because I like suffering.
@tmcfarlane For macro I think there are some Zeiss lenses. The 80mm is the "universal" lens because it's roughly a 45mm more or less and is pretty small and light (the equivalent of 35/40mm is HEAVY as fuck). In case I buy it again, it would be only the Planar 80. It's just perfect.
Btw, try a Rolleiflex too. They are as good as the Hassy and much lighter, even the Schneider Kreuznach ones have nothing to envy the Zeiss and are cheaper. Just saying...
