@joshcalvetti yeah this seems like the way. I was hoping there was a host of nice minimal smart lamps but seems like the landscape is heavily skewed towards smart bulbs or smart outlets

@gn in my experience, so many of the integrated lights use really shitty power management circuits or crummy bulbs and they flicker like mad. I’d rather just get a basic fixture and buy a nice high-quality bulb

@gn I have had mine for 3 years now. They’re great. Sometimes I take them to the park. The new ones are Thread enabled which makes them super fast (new iPhones are Thread enabled so it also works outside of Home instead of Bluetooth).
