JamesGecko@grumpygamer @Fluttermind At a glance, it looks like it should be possible to run the Steam version on macOS natively, via shenanigans. @Fluttermind would you mind if I wrote up a set of instructions about how to extract the code/data from the Windows version and run it on macOS?

@Fluttermind @jamesgecko I'm a life long Mac programmer wonder why that is? I've heard some people say that, but never encountered it myself.
@grumpygamer @jamesgecko So, the game requires LuaJIT, which doesn’t run properly on M1 for some reason, and causes some horrific memory/disk thrashing.

@Fluttermind I got a dungeon that was nothing but a locked room. With no key in sight. I cleared all webs, grass and walked into most of the walls? I'm wondering if I missed something.

@Fluttermind No worries! I reloaded a couple times, and was still stuck in the room. I gave it some time and reloaded just now and was standing on the stairs again. when I went back in it was the same.
Ah! It's called Yarrow Cave. And both doors are locked.

@Fluttermind Oh, it appears to think that I no longer have the graveyard key/ gate unlocked, as I cannot open the gate either.
@DeadlyEssence01 Oh. This is apparently happening because the game updated while you were in the dungeon. :-( There are several ways around it. First up, press shift-d to kill your character.
@DeadlyEssence01 If the gate is locked, just press ‘ (by the tilda key) to open the Console, walk to the gate and type ‘dig’. It’ll nuke the gate. :-)

@Fluttermind so. After getting out of the stuck area it appears that I didn't have the graveyard key again. So I got the tiny key again. Got the graveyard key and retried going into the dungeon. I'm still 'stuck' in the single room. If you have all the information you need for this impromptu bug report I'll just create a new save. ~
@DeadlyEssence01 Go to the console (press ‘ by the tilda key) and type ‘rebuild’ while outside of the dungeon. It’ll fix up the dungeon for you.
@Fluttermind Im on 0.0.686, I ended up walking into all the walls and nothing. And I called it a dungeon since my first run was different. I walked into the ladder behind the graveyard. I got the patch update while saved in there. when I loaded up the game, I was standing on the stairs again. So I went back in and had a single room with nothing in it.
