For over a decade it was “The Wire.”

For a couple years now, it’s been “The Leftovers.”

But, as of tonight, my all-time favorite TV show is “Station Eleven.”

Thank you for respecting my journey.

Fucking Clark.
@hotdogsladies Clark is my favourite character in any tv show in the last 10 years and that airport episode is … I can’t even find the right words for it.

@philip

I *feel* like I've seen a him a million things, but the only thing I can quickly find is "The Crown."

I want more David Wilmot!

@hotdogsladies I haven’t seen the show, but really loved the book. I need to watch it.
@Antichrista @hotdogsladies I loved the show so much over several viewings that I now want to go deeper into the book.
@zombieobject @hotdogsladies Nice! I also really enjoyed “Sea of Tranquility,” by the same author. It handles time travel in an interesting way.
@Antichrista @hotdogsladies Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll add that title to my reading queue. 🙌🏼

@hotdogsladies Yes! My wife and I found that show at just the right time mentally. I love how intentional ever little detail feels and some of the language is almost knowingly over the top dramatic, and yet given the characters context, it should be!

“To the monsters, we’re the monsters.”
is the closest I’ve gotten to a word tattoo.

@hotdogsladies “It’s just so pretentious!”
@hotdogsladies I remember damage, then escape.
@hotdogsladies also a perfect song for a perfect scene: https://youtu.be/3iy2IHn9qdk?si=2-1wBhLoBzGo6pNy

@hotdogsladies I haven't finished it quite yet, but I read the book back in 2018/19 and it's stuck.
@hotdogsladies a rare instance when program and book are solid in different regards.
@hotdogsladies omg Kirsten and Jeevan's reunion 😭 😭 😭
