@sargoth On July 21, 2007 college eclectica nerd rockers They Might Be Giants played one song and then a fuse blew, killing power to most of the theatre. They left and the audience sat in anxious darkness for about 45 minutes. During that time, The Johns came out, illuminated only by a lightbulb in a handheld wire construct cage. To calm the audience and keep the show from shutting down, they played two songs and extolled the virtues of hiring union electricians.

I had an iRiver in my jacket that recorded the whole thing.

The "masters" of this show were never recorded because the power was out.

I have a record of that evening and I will never forget it.
