@markhburton agreed. This continuous promotion of the car is clearly unsustainable. I'm living in a small city which is gridlocked most of every day now. 2-3 cars per household-tarmac drives and pavement parking. It is a sickening sight.

@markhburton When I hear “motorist” I think of the furious red-faced man who threw an absolute screaming tantrum when he was held up for less than 10 minutes on Jamaica Road by the rolling roadblock the Met were laying down for the Tour of Britain. I was a nearby race marshal so he informed me that he paid his road tax and what are these cyclists doing in the road and why do they have to have their race in London? Pretty sure he described himself as a motorist.
