On my ancient MacBook Pro (2016, 15") the backlight of the internal display failed overnight. The MacBook still works with a external display. What surprises me is that I briefly had an illuminated battery loading indicator on the internal display when I plugged in the charging cable (though not reproducible). Could this still be a faulty flex cable? Or something else? #apple #mac #hardware #failure
