Using a holistic, systems approach, everyone would be a “project contributor”. Instead of centering on 1 aspect or role which is producing code.

The project needs to produce & execute on
1. Design decisions for both intended UX experience architecture & technical architecture
2. Prepare, share, align plans, budgets & communication
3. Implement code
4. Test & validate 3 complies with 1 & 2, else iterate.
5. Documentation.
6. Packaging & deployment.
7. Operations
