The app is nice, but you get the Google ads in the free version. Personally I think you can have mostly the same experience without Ads on some other app like Connect.

I don’t get any ads. Maybe nextdns.io removed them.

Yea I noticed I don’t get ads in it nor in Sync for Lemmy.

No idea why, but I’m not complaining.
