I’ve lost over 90lbs/41kg on my #weightloss journey and one of the weirder parts is finding new bones that I didn’t know I had. Sitting on a wooden bench yesterday I was distinctly aware that there was less padding below me than normal, and it was actually quite uncomfortable. And laying on my side at night, my knee bones touch each other. I have to tuck the quilt between my knees for some padding.

And I keep hitting these newfound bones on things and injuring them. Like when I bruised my knee a week ago and haven’t been able to run while it’s healing 😕

Man that drop-off with the knee injury has been ✨dramatic✨
@thefreehunter amazing job on your weight loss!
@cactusketo thanks! It’s been quite a journey 😄

@thefreehunter Ha! We well know those feelings in this household as well!

Then there is the being what feels to be terminally cold, what with the lack of padding.

Probably my most surprise was the fact that my shoes were suddenly all too large! 😂

Well done on the journey!

@swrogers I haven’t lost a shoe size but I did have to get my wedding ring re-sized! And yes, the body temperature shift has been very interesting. I’m a little nervous about this upcoming Midwest winter when I’ll have 100lbs less insulation than I did in previous years 😬
@thefreehunter aye, we both had to get our rings basically redone as well. The Winters are interesting (I'm Midwest too). I used to be able to wear shorts year round, now it's almost always total coverage! Jeans, long sleeves and/or hoodie. Our thermostat has gone from upper 60s year round to mid 70s. Generally a solid 75. ..... And that's cold to me. 🤣
