The_Turtle_Moves@GBDocChatHost my boss (at the time) was the second person to know after my wife, because I texted him to say I'd miss a meeting because the doctor wouldn't let me out after I was diagnosed with T1D.
The funny thing is, my boss at the time had grown up with a cousin who had T1D, and knew all about it. In the medium-term I wound up confused when literally everybody else knew dangerously-less about diabetes than Kyle did.
But I'm a work from home data scientist. Diabetes doesn't impact my job much
