@mike Zenodo runs on InvenioRDM, and while there are some similarities, our user base and intent make us quite different overall.

@mike @hello Hey Mike! I'm the product manager on the Commons and the resident librarian on the team. Zenodo is much more of a traditional repository. It's meant to preserve work, but isn't set up intentionally as a workspace for where work is done. The Commons is very interested in extending our repository to not just be a place for saving and preserving work, but a workspace for OA journals, a location where open peer review can be done, and for the curation of content. I think the intention is quite different, and functionality is currently in development to encourage those uses.
