We watched #Ahsoka episodes 1 and 2 last night, and I was pretty giddy the whole time! I also know this is 100% because I grew to love the #CloneWars, #Rebels, #Ahsoka, and #Thrawn over the years, especially with the books; it was a treat to see a bunch of things I loved from the animated series in live action.
For folks who haven’t seen Rebels: I think you can still enjoy this show, but the first two episodes especially felt like the bridge between Rebels and the new story that is kicking off.
I’ve heard people complain about pacing or whatever for these episodes, but it was fine for me. It was long, but I could also see how trying to speed through it all could have been more overwhelming.
I agree that some of the characters that we originally met in animated shows feel a bit “stiff” in these episodes so far; idk if that’s just due to translating between mediums, the characters being older/matured/battle-worn, or just the acting/directing. I got over it, though.
Okay this week's episode of #Ahsoka was short! I *loved* it, but I did feel like it could have been combined with last week's or next's.
Still, I'm absolutely loving this show. 😍

This week was good, too!
Rewatching/listening to #Ahsoka while doing housework, and yeah, this show is good. It felt a bit slow the first watch through, but there’s SO much more happening w/the characters than you realize—watching a second time, I’m picking up a LOT more.
My main concern is how it lands for folks who haven't watched #CloneWars & #Rebels. Because it feels like this show is *important* for the future of #StarWars.
This week's episode was my favorite yet, which I'm pretty sure I've said 3 weeks in a row.
Mmmm another good episode. And yet another, “I want more!” feeling at the end. It was good, though. A nice penultimate episode, and I literally have no idea what is going to happen next—but I want to know!
Non-spoiler reaction to the finale:
I love it. 😄 I need to re-watch the ENTIRE season now as one thing, but it felt *great* as a huge fan of Clone Wars and Rebels.
I'm stoked to see where this era goes next, and based on this series, it could get even better (and weirder?).
