In catching up on movies I should have seen ages ago and never got around to;

Boy do I wish I'd seen But I'm a Cheerleader earlier, if nothing else bc the stuff about the kissing and attraction might have helped me figure out I was ace way earlier.

It is weird to feel so seen by a movie from the late 90s about an orientation I'm not

@PMscenarios I also watched But I'm a Cheerleader this year for the first time and same... I'd realized I was so gay much much earlier than I did.

@opponent019 it feels like it could have been made today. Which is both a testament to the movie and a comment on how slow society is truly moving on this stuff
