Can anyone recommend a favorite USB-C to A cable? I’m using CarPlay in a vehicle with only USB-A ports.

@michaelsteeber This is what I bought for my car and it works great.

@michaelsteeber Anything made by Anker. The quality is (IMO) better than Apple's own cables.
@michaelsteeber We uses an anker USB-A to USB-C cable - very happy with the cable!
@michaelsteeber I’ve started using onn. (Walmart’s white label electronics brand) for this sort of thing. They’re cheap and reliable. I put their USB-C to A cable in two cars and have been using them without any trouble. https://www.walmart.com/ip/488192211
Robot or human?

@michaelsteeber I’m using a super short (which suits my car) Belkin cable that came with my power bank.
@michaelsteeber use this. It’s in spec in all the right ways https://a.co/d/aCYjucG

@ligerxx I think this might be exactly what I want.

@michaelsteeber I'm using an official Apple braided USB-C cable and connecting it to a little dongle hidden inside my center armrest.

It's some no name brand but so far is working perfectly.

@fcloth I was going to do this as well before I heard a warning on the recent episode of ATP that these tend to be unreliable
@michaelsteeber I'm keeping a close eye on this one. I think as long as it's not plugged into something that wants to drink a lot of power, it's okay. So far it's stayed cool to the touch.
