Thought I'd treat myself to a hotel with a gym - Lemmy.world

15 kg are the heaviest. Guess I’m going for that high rep range dumbell press (•_•)

Well I’ve actually just started and I can confirm that doing north of 30 reps is not fun

And that was on the incline. Just done 40 on the flat

Guess I’m doing cardio after all

Just do push-ups.
This is the answer. In a hotel things like pool / sauna / games room / etc.. are always a dice roll. It'll either be the cheapest thing the owners can put together without actually being sued or incredible.
Lmao, we had one like that, it was just a little conservatory with like 2 machines and a weight rack, with barely any floor space. Because it was summer the room was completely unusable.
Duct-tape-frankenbell time!
Could you do reps with the rack?
Weirdest spot-request ever
Does make you wonder why they opted for a dumbbell rack like that. Hotel gyms really are a dice roll.
Looks like someone had to pay an excess luggage fee on the flight home.
Hotel “gyms” are often… underwhelming if you’re looking to do anything other than cardio
I’m at an all-inclusive resort… cardio is taking a deload
Hotels offer complimentary weights?
