Somebody said most of the best tv shows are about grief, and “Station Eleven” sure does nail that.
@hotdogsladies such a good series. Almost worth an annual rewatch I think.
@hotdogsladies definitely one of my favorite shows of the last decade. I was a complete mess at the end of it.
@hotdogsladies fantastic sleeper of actual good writing. Silo doesn’t hold a candle to it
@hotdogsladies sunday nights are great for grief
@TSindelar Tony, they're not our dogs anymore.
@TSindelar What an important program.
@hotdogsladies One of my all time favorites!
@hotdogsladies I can see your point. I really wanted to like the show, but having read the book first (which is exceptional), I had a hard time getting past the departure of the story in the adaptation.

@sgsax This is my third rewatch, and I either never knew (or more likely I knew and just forgot) that there was a book.

I blame my media bubble.

And, also, I blame the media.

@hotdogsladies @sgsax The author has other great books. I heartily recommend Sea of Tranquility.
@matt @hotdogsladies It's on my reading list. Thanks!
@hotdogsladies I’ll get to it as soon as I finish The Leftovers. (Neither is going to leave me feeling great, right?)
@hotdogsladies that was both a great book and a great show. Love them both.
@hotdogsladies Station Eleven reminded me of nothing so much as the Leftovers…
