I thought it was the worst game ever, and couldn't imagine how anyone could find such an abomination enjoyable.
If anybody had told me at the time, actually this is how the real world is run.... I'd have kicked them in the nads on the spot.
@violetmadder @ianbetteridge @CStamp It is a terrible game, not just for the general theme, but for glacial gameplay. It’s more fun when you start going off-script and breaking some rules (it *is* about corporate assholes, after all…). One of my sons got really excited when I started doing this during a game and totally bought into it. The other one wasn’t keen and walked away from the game… A little less flexible, that one 😊
@MichaelPorter @ianbetteridge @CStamp I think that was what got to me the most-- past a certain point you can pretty much tell who's going to win. Then you just spend round after round after round after round watching them gloat while you bleed, without hope.
And then in real life, the game never ends-- nobody wins, they just play till they die and then their kids inherit their money and properties and generation after generation goes around, and around, and around and I WANT TO SET THIS FUCKING BOX ON FIRE AND HURL IT OUT THE GODDAMN WINDOW.
