#Pancake chat! 🥞

- I’ve used this #DanLepard #recipe maybe 100 times

- You can swap the buttermilk for owt; recently I’ve been using a mixture of skyr and milk, because that’s what’s in

- I’ve used coconut yoghurt and oat milk, that’s fine too

- Do *not* add berries etc to the batter, this makes an unevenly cooked mess

- Flip the pancake a little earlier than suggested, so you get a splash around the edge which goes crispy. Some of the best pancakes look like Iceland. Mmm, crispy fjords.

- Also you don’t need to use butter for frying at all. Olive or rapeseed oil produce similar results.

- I’ve never not used eggs, but whatever vegan sub for eggs you use is bound to be fine.

- I mix the batter in seconds in a Nutribullet blender, which makes things much easier.

@Nickiquote it's all metric, with a random tsp in there. What up with that? 😄

These are going to be fantastic when I make them like an hour from now. Thanks!

@simSalabim I’d never thought of it but yes you’re right! Hope you enjoy them!

@Nickiquote sadly, no buttermilk and our yogurt is moldy! I'm going to save this for next weekend.

I love the crispy splattered edges! Mmmm
