Well yeah… I used Designer and Publisher extensively when I still used Windows. I asked and begged them to consider a linux version but they didn’t saw the marketplace. Guess we Linux users aren’t productive enough. So instead we have to resort to Inkscape and Krita.

Well fuck them for not considering making a filesystem driver for every OS. Especially THE OS most associated with servers and privacy minded users.

Linux runs like 90% of the world’s servers. You can’t even get half of Microsoft’s shitty software on AWS. Not to mention that development outside of C# (even that’s a pain in the ass to deploy) is an exercise in BDSM.

Linux having dominate market share in the server market doesn’t mean anything when it comes to the desktop market. Proton isn’t making Drive for servers, it’s a consumer product.

I don’t know what the person you replied to does for a living, but a lot of people make a shit load of money using some of the software mentioned, not that it should matter either way.
