1. Menendez's own party will force his resignation

2. You could produce videotape of Clarence Thomas having sex with someone who appeared before the court both before and after he ruled in their favor, and no measures will be taken to remove him from the bench

Why are so many people pretending not to know this?

@kims It is endlessly stupefying.

And I say this viewing the Menendez clusterfck from #NewJersey, which has been known to have some issues (Bridgegate, anyone?). But Murphy and an ever-growing bevy of NJ Dems have called for his resignation.

The contrast is deafening.

I'm surprised at the calls coming from NJ Dems because they know better than anyone how venal and vindictive Menendez is. The guy lives for payback

It's an act of integrity for out-of-state Dems to demand his resignation; it's an act of bravery for those within NJ to do so

@kims Remember how the GOP responded to the ousting of Sen. Franken? By laughing about the Roger Stone op succeeding. Sen. Gillibrand took the high ground all the way to stupid town.
