Rudie V. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️Not in a good place today. Feeling like my subdued, introverted personality is always disappointing people, even those close to me. Like, I'm sorry but my personality is what it is, for better or worse. If you can't deal with that, I don't know what to tell you, other than you should have a more open mind and a bigger heart. I have enough to deal with without trying to live up to what other people want from me. I just don't have the mental energy for that.
Stan Wonn 🏳️🌈 🌹@rudie I would say that my personality is probably somewhat similar to yours (reserved and introverted). No, maybe not everyone will like that. But I guess my attitude, at this point in my life, is that it's THEIR problem and not mine.
@StanWonn I can usually manage to take that view when it's people not close to me (co-workers, for example) but it can be tricky when it's people you share a roof with. I think I'm just going to have to have a frank talk with this particular person tomorrow.
