Turns out transfer over cable handles settings, photos, health, messages, music and other data inside stock apps. Afterwards third-party apps still had to be downloaded from App Store.

Estimated time was off, but ~45 mins for 120GB over usb 2 speed was likely faster than a full iCloud backup restore.

Appreciate @overcastfm offering a full download of all previously downloaded episodes, but really wish iOS allowed a way to transfer over from another device. I’ve already spent the bandwidth to download. Could be problematic for those who have ISP caps.

I know @marcoarment would implement if iOS supported that option well. 😏
