@drkkolmes Eye opening experience in reading this--thanks for sharing. I'm curious if this is a widespread practice among EMR/EHR companies? (just curious if you happen to know)
@jayliew I don’t know yet. I am guessing this is the influence of big tech and it may make a difference with the company mission board members think. I think that platform in particular made some changes after it was sold. But a lot of people do worry that this is the direction that many companies are going in. That is also why I wanted to go to a site that guaranteed it would never do that. Changing platforms was arduous, and I wouldn’t want to do it again!
