What are the rules for counting states on your visited list? I know airport layovers don’t count. And I’ve heard that driving through and not leaving your car doesn’t count.

The reason I ask is I realized I’ve never been to Idaho and have to drive through it to get from Missoula to Spokane. Is the rule that you have to sleep there or shit there? Because if it’s the latter, I’m totally prepared to shit all over Idaho.

@chopaganda I count it if I drive across it, sleep there, eat a meal there (not in the airport), or was there long enough to have any kind of story. New Hampshire and Arkansas are the only ones I've driven across without stopping. Wyoming was another until last summer. Still counts AFAIC.
