Pippa 🌈@meena @pawsplay hmm, you’ve got me going down a rabbit hole now 🧐 Wikipedia says woolly sheep began to be developed ~6000BCE but also that ancient breeds of sheep could have their wool collected either naturally (it just shed) or by hand through a process called “rooing” (still done with some breeds today)!
